We know that it is slow out there, but what can you do to increase your sales? KEEP A POSITVE ATTITUDE AND SMILE! Get out from behind your desk and greet guests in the lobby. Introduce yourself as the Concierge and let them know you are there to assist them with tickets or any questions they may have. VACATION PLAN! Since you don’t have lines, spend more time with your guests and help them vacation plan. Concentrate on the high profit tickets – Sea World, Legoland,, I-Drive 360, 2 Day PTP Universal, dinner shows and Blue Man Group. Upgrade your sales! No one should walk away from your desk with a 1 Day ticket without knowing about all the multi-day and multi-park options. Use this slow time to sharpen your sales skills!
LA NOUBA UPDATE
La Nouba is re-opening for shows starting Tuesday, 9/27. Just a reminder that through the end of October, there will only be a 6 pm show on Thursdays.
LEGOLAND CLOSED TUES. & WED.
Legoland has gone back to their slow season schedule with the park being CLOSED on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Also, the Water Park is ONLY open on Saturdays and Sundays.
UNIFORMS – EYES ARE ON YOU!
You all have no idea how many complaints we get on a daily basis on our staff, not only about service but also appearance. Please take pride in your job. Treat the guests how YOU would like to be treated. Give them a friendly smile and be sure to help them in ANY way possible, even if they’ve gotten their tickets elsewhere. As far as uniforms go, each of you knows what is required of you. If you come to work out of uniform, you will be sent home without pay, reprimanded and possibly terminated. NAMETAGS are mandatory and must be worn ON YOU at all times while working. If you do not have a nametag, please call the office or a lead and we will get one for you.
HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS
HHN runs on select nights that continue through 10/31. We are selling the event nights that fall between Sunday – Thursday at a discount, and any Friday-Saturday event night at regular price. As usual, your best bet is to sell the 2 or 3 Day PTP Combos. Remember, with the combo tickets, it includes ONE NON-SATURDAY visit to HHN during the 14 day period. If you have a guest wanting to purchase a 1 Day ticket and go to HHN, it’s better to have them upgrade to add the HHN while they are at the park. If you have any questions, please ask your lead or manager. Make sure you ask them if they are Florida Residents too. If they are, they can get cheaper prices online, but offer them our tickets as a convenience.
MICKEY’S NOT SO SCARY PARTY
You must look up the tickets by the DATE that they would like to attend. The dates for the upcoming week are 9/29, 9/30, and 10/2. As was in the past, guests who purchase our tickets can enter the park as early as 4 pm.
MAGIC KINGDOM CLOSES EARLY
When selling Magic Kingdom tickets, please remind your guests that any night there is MNSSHP, the park closes at 7 pm. Be sure to check the times guide and make sure they are aware of this.
REGULAR SEASON STARTS 9/30
Remember, we are in VALUE season until Thursday, 9/29, but after that, ALL ONE DAY tickets must be sold and printed as REGULAR tickets.
SLOW TIME – CLEAN DESKS
This is the perfect time to clean and organize the desks. Please go through all materials and throw anything away that is outdated. Look at the desk from a guest’s perspective and make sure your desk is appealing and not too cluttered. When doing this, please do NOT throw away anyone’s personal items.
CREDIT CARD FRAUD
Remember, if ONE person is purchasing a large number of tickets (more than 4 to one attraction), you must have ALL members of the party in front of you, you must check ID, the guest must be staying at the hotel, and you must VERIFY the room with the front desk. Be sure to use the PAX/EMV chip reader with all chip embedded cards.
DISCOVERY COVE INCENTIVE
Remember to push Discovery Cove! In the month of September, get $3000 in revenue and you receive 2 Day resorts! $6000 and you get to swims with Sea Venture, $8000 adds a Trainer for a day, and $10,000 gets you a family 4 pack! Discovery Cove is a GREAT value, as you get all food and beverages, in addition to 14 days unlimited admission to both Sea World and Aquatica!
DISNEY REVENUE INCENTIVE
For those of you on the VIP, Gifting and AGS Teams, Disney has started an incentive for you to win 2 Free Passes to Mickey’s Not So Scary! For the most revenue produced each week in Magic Your Way tickets, the top 2 from the Gifting Team and the top 3 from the AGS or VIP Teams will receive 2 Free Tickets to MNSSHP on 9/30. This runs from 9/4-9/10, 9/11 – 9/17, 9/18 – 9/24, and 9/25 – 10/1 (which receives tickets for 10/7). This is for MYW and MNSSHP tickets only. Timeshare and convention tickets do not apply. You can only win 1 time.

The next home match will be Sunday, 10/2 at 1 pm against the Montreal Impact. We have 12 company seats available in Section 101 for $50 each, and if you sell these, you receive an extra $10 in commission!
