LEGOLAND

We need to do our best to increase sales with LegoLand.  We are 45% down compared to last year.  We now have an incentive to help increase sales:

Concierge Bonus:  Sell 25 paid tickets to Legoland during this 2 week pay period (March 27-April 9)  and receive a $25 target gift card.  In addition, for every paid ticket sold, your name will be entered into a drawing to win up to $100! In an effort to help sales we can offer one of the following offers, but cannot be combined.

1. Free water park with purchase (this is done by discounting the legoland/water park combo by $20) 2. Free child ticket with the purchase of a full priced adult ticket. (this is done by selling the LegoLand BOGO kids free ticket) 3. $20 off any legoLand ticket, except for the BOGO ticket.  (this works by using the Advance purchase prices and discounting the tickets by $20)

BUSCH GARDENS + SEAWORLD

Busch Gardens is holding their Food and Wine festival until April 30th. Includes concerts! Some exciting news to add to our All Day Dining Program at SeaWorld! When guests now purchase SeaWorld’s All Day Dining, they will receive a 30% discount on ALL snacks and beverages in the park (including alcoholic beverages). This is a great value to your guests and even more of a reason to add on our All Day Dining Deal to any SeaWorld ticket.

ORLANDO MAGIC + ORLANDO CITY SOCCER

The next game is April 6 against the Brooklyn Nets. Only three more games left in the season! We now have access to sell Orlando City Tickets!  The next match is Sunday, April 9th at 4 pm against the New York Red Bulls.  As far as the procedures go, you MUST first ask the guest wanting to go if they have an e-mail address and a smart phone.  If they don’t have either of these, they will be required to buy the tickets at the stadium.  There are VERY LIMITED tickets for these first few matches so they may be sold out.  All managers and most leads can book these tickets for you.  The guest will need to set up an account through the Lion Nation App or go directly to orlandocitysc.com to access their tickets once they are purchased.  They then will have to have their tickets scanned on their phones to enter the stadium.  If you are on the Premier Team, we will only be able to take cash payments and have the money sent to the AGS office (not Expedia).  For all other teams, you will be able to use the POS system and collect cash or credit card.  AS AN INCENTIVE, THE FIRST 3 PEOPLE TO SELL TICKETS WILL RECEIVE 2 COMPLIMENTARY ADMISSIONS TO THE ORLANDO CITY B GAMES on your choice of Thursday, 3/30 against Louisville, 4/4 against TFC II, or 4/8 against Charlotte.  All games start at 7:30 for these matches.  Even if you don’t want to see Orlando City B, it’s a great opportunity to experience a match and see the NEW stadium!

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER

From April 3rd – April 16th, the top seller of Kennedy Space Center will receive a 2 Night Stay at the Country Inn & Suites Port Canaveral, admission for 2 to Kennedy Space Center and dinner for 2 at Fish Lips at Port Canaveral!  This is a great getaway weekend for 2!  A minimum of 12 tickets must be sold to qualify. Don’t forget, if you’ve never been to KSC, they offer 2 Complimentary Admissions to all AGS Employees.  Just give a week’s notice if possible and we will set you up for the free tickets.  Sell those KSC tickets!

ATTRACTION FOCUS

Legoland will be opening their water park on March 11th for kids to enjoy with their families. Hours for the water park are 11-5. This is a great park for young ones and Lego fans to enjoy. Legoland is about a hour away from Orlando in Winter Haven. Ninjago is their newest attraction. If your guests ask about the ride, it is very comparable to Toy Story Mania at Hollywood Studios except instead of shooting at the targets you use your hands to make ninja-like movements to defeat the villains. The granny apple fries are a delicious treat to get there! Parents would enjoy a stroll in Cypress Gardens located inside of the park. The banyan tree that is there was planted in 1936 and is breath taking to see in person. There are Lego cities (like Las Vegas and New York City) inside the park and even some Florida attractions like Kennedy Space Center and Daytona 500. There are very few character meet and greets but if your guests ask, let them know it is by the movie theater. This park is great for families with children 10 and under. Since the water park is now open, talk this up with your guests for an easy add on! Chances are you can also add on Kennedy Space Center to your sale since they are willing to travel a bit to see the sights.

WALT DISNEY WORLD

Reminder that we are no longer able to sell the 4 Park Magic ticket. Flower and Garden over at Epcot is going on until May 29. Make sure to get your button from the Disney reps! The Garden Rocks! If you went to the Disney training over at Disney Springs, make sure to redeem your 1 day park hopper ticket BEFORE March 17th. Ticket exchange is available at any guest relations locations either at the parks or at Disney Springs. You have until April 23rd to use your park hopper. WE ARE NOW IN REGULAR SEASON FOR TICKETS UNTIL MARCH 24. ON MARCH 25 WE WILL BE IN PEAK (UNTIL APRIL 18).

March 3rd, 2017 — Volume 26.61 — MARCH MADNESS & SPRING BREAK

SPRING BREAK

Every school district has a different spring break, so we should be starting to see more and more families visiting the Orlando area. Theme parks are not always in everyone’s budget. Now is a great time to talk up dinner shows, Cirque and Blue Man, Fun Spot, and the I-Drive attractions. La Nouba will be ending their shows at the end of the year. Let your guests know this in case they’d like to see it before it goes. Water parks should also be a great seller at this time.

WALT DISNEY WORLD

REMEMBER WE ARE IN VALUE SEASON UNTIL MARCH 9TH WHEN IT GOES BACK TO REGULAR SEASON.

March 1 – May 29, Epcot will host their annual Flower and Garden festival. This is a crowd favorite, besides the Food and Wine Festival. Spring has arrived at Epcot with character topiaries throughout the park along with beautiful florals and foliage. The festival also includes concerts on the stage in the American pavilion, with Jon Secada kicking off the event on March 4th. Similar to Food and Wine, several booths will be set up throughout World Showcase with food and beverages that incorporate flowers, plants and farm grown vegetables.

UNIVERSAL

Yandel will be performing March 4th for Mardi Gras. Remember Universal is in VALUE season until March 25th. Always promote P2P so guests can enjoy all Universal has to offer. When selling Universal, are you asking your guests if they want to see Blue Man Group? This is an easy add on and a nice way to end their day in the parks. Your guests might not even know Blue Man is at Universal so be sure to mention it to them and boost your commissions!
