ATTRACTION FOCUS

Legoland will be opening their water park on March 11th for kids to enjoy with their families. Hours for the water park are 11-5. This is a great park for young ones and Lego fans to enjoy. Legoland is about a hour away from Orlando in Winter Haven. Ninjago is their newest attraction. If your guests ask about the ride, it is very comparable to Toy Story Mania at Hollywood Studios except instead of shooting at the targets you use your hands to make ninja-like movements to defeat the villains. The granny apple fries are a delicious treat to get there! Parents would enjoy a stroll in Cypress Gardens located inside of the park. The banyan tree that is there was planted in 1936 and is breath taking to see in person. There are Lego cities (like Las Vegas and New York City) inside the park and even some Florida attractions like Kennedy Space Center and Daytona 500. There are very few character meet and greets but if your guests ask, let them know it is by the movie theater. This park is great for families with children 10 and under. Since the water park is now open, talk this up with your guests for an easy add on! Chances are you can also add on Kennedy Space Center to your sale since they are willing to travel a bit to see the sights.

WALT DISNEY WORLD

Reminder that we are no longer able to sell the 4 Park Magic ticket. Flower and Garden over at Epcot is going on until May 29. Make sure to get your button from the Disney reps! The Garden Rocks! Series at the American Pavilion will showcase The Pointer Sisters (“I’m So Excited”) March 10-13 and Simple Plan (“Welcome to My Life”) March 17-18.

If you went to the Disney training over at Disney Springs, make sure to redeem your 1 day park hopper ticket BEFORE March 17th. Ticket exchange is available at any guest relations locations either at the parks or at Disney Springs. You have until April 23rd to use your park hopper. WE ARE NOW IN REGULAR SEASON FOR TICKETS UNTIL MARCH 24. ON MARCH 25 WE WILL BE IN PEAK (UNTIL APRIL 18).

Mardi Gras is still rocking over at Universal with UB40 playing on March 11 and Toby Keith on March 12. Don’t forget to mention Park to Park and Blue Man Group to boost your sales. Universal REMAINS IN VALUE SEASON THROUGH MARCH 24^TH

SEAWORLD

Seafood Festival on Saturdays!! Justin Moore will be performing March 11. Remember to always mention Discovery Cove, Aquatica and Busch Gardens while selling Seaworld tickets!

ORLANDO MAGIC

Orlando Magic is in March Madness season with basketball in full swing! The next game is on March 11 vs Cleveland Cavaliers. Congratulations on a fantastic February! Let’s hear it for 3 All Guest Services team members who have qualified for their choice of a prize for their outstanding sales efforts in February!!!  Jon Garner – 37 tickets, Izzy Guzower – 23 tickets, Rafael Calvo – 15 tickets.  Jon gets 4 Terrace level tickets to his game choice and Rafael and Izzy get 2 Terrace Level tickets to the game of their choice.  Let’s keep selling those Orlando Magic tickets in March.  Go Magic!

Kennedy Space Center: The launch of United Launch Alliance (ULA) Delta IV rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station carrying the WGS-9 satellite for U.S. Air Force Space Command has been rescheduled. The new launch date is no earlier than March 14 with the launch time still to be determined. Updated launch information will be provided once the new date and time are confirmed.
