August 25th, 2017 – Dinner Shows and Halloween!

ATTRACTION FOCUS

This month’s focus is on DINNER SHOWS. Have you gotten a chance to experience one of the many that we have here in Orlando? Please make sure to reach out to Cristina (cristinaf@pirates-town.com) for your VIP card so that you can see Pirates, Treasure Tavern or Cirque Magique for FREE.

We sell Medieval Times, Mangos, Pirates, Sleuths, Titanic Experience, Treasure Tavern, and Wonderworks Combo (admission and dinner show)!! We also have coupons for guests to get 50% off at Capones! These are an EASY add on to your sales, especially now that it’s slower at the parks and they close earlier. A lot of times, your location will have a menu for these shows so show them to your guests if they are trying to decide which one to do.

Mangos

A few quick notes about our Mango’s vouchers:

  • We receive $3.50 for every voucher we sell. Make sure that your name is on the voucher to receive credit.
  • This show involves LASERS and strobe lights. Please mention this to your guests in case they suffer from vertigo or seizures.
  • You MUST CALL Mango’s to ensure a VIP seat for your guests.
  • Guests get VIP seating, a 3 course meal and a free glass of wine or champagne with our voucher.

WALT DISNEY WORLD

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party starts Friday, 8/25. Remember, with
our tickets the guest can enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4 pm at the
specially designated turnstile. This is a good selling point for these
tickets.

We are in VALUE season with Friday-Sundays in September being Regular. September 1-4 is Regular. For the Disney Water Park sales, the Seasonal tickets start Next Monday, 8/28.  So when selling Water Park tickets this week, be sure to ask what day they will be visiting the park.  If it’s NEXT MONDAY (8/28) or later you will print the LOWER priced tickets, which are the Seasonal tickets that have Block Out Dates.

UNIVERSAL

Please make sure you use the filter on the left hand side of the Ticket Store in Universal’s Instant Ticket Wizard when printing Universal tickets. This will dramatically reduce the mistakes that are being made. Remember we are in VALUE season.

NON-PREMIER TEAMS- All employees are now Super Users and should now have access to ALL ticket stores (Vistana, Gifting, Guest Services, and Diamond).  It’s very important that if you are working ANY Vistana locations (including Radisson, Sheraton, and the Clarion) that you use the Vistana Store when printing ANY Universal tickets.  We must improve our Universal sales at these locations and this improvement must be generated through the Vistana Store.  If you have any questions, please ask a lead or your team manager.  Thank you!

Next Orlando City home match is 8/26 against Vancouver. Please talk OSC up with EVERY sale. You never know who would be interested in seeing a match. NEW INCENTIVE FOR THE NEXT TWO ORLANDO CITY MATCHES!

Every time you sell Orlando City SC tickets for any of the August games (19th & 26th), you’re name will be entered to participate in a raffle. The more you sell, the higher your chances to win any of the following items:

-Autographed Item
-$10.00 Starbucks Card
-Private Stadium Tour for 2 includes beer or wine
-$10.00 Wawa Card
-2 Tickets to an OCB game
-2 Tickets to an Orlando Pride game
-Orlando City Brazilian Scarf

For example if you sell tickets to 5 families, you’ll have the chance to pull out of the raffle bag 5 times. Also each winner will get an invitation to an upcoming Private Happy Hour Event with Tour of the Stadium + 1 Guest

EMPLOYEE NOTES:


It is the responsibility of EACH OF YOU to check your supplies at the beginning and end of your shift. It’s not fair for someone to come on to a shift with no Disney Shells, or Visa cards. These are the items that you should check for daily: Disney Shells (check to make sure you have both ADULTS and CHILDREN), Visa Cards, Toner, printer paper, credit card rolls, and POS rolls. Everyone should have a Connect (Cirque) and Blue Man Group login and you should be booking them yourself. You should not be calling the office, a lead or a manger. If you do not have one, please contact your team manager to give it to you.

FL Dolphin Tours and Grayline – Please make sure that your guests are aware of the refund policy for these tours.  They are totally NON-REFUNDABLE and in fact many are charged a fee if they do not show up for the tour or if they cancel less than 24 hours before a tour.  For some out of town tours, they cannot cancel more than 72 hours in advance or NOT AT ALL!  If the guest doesn’t follow these procedures, THEY WILL BE CHARGED A CANCELLATION FEE.  Please refer to Florida Dolphin Tours or Grayline’s websites and become familiar with these fees.  Be sure that your guest is aware of them.  Thank you.
