We have been looking at our year over year sales, and they are down substantially. This is especially true at the Premier locations. Are you doing your part to help improve sales? How can you help? Get out from behind your desk and act as the “Hotel Ambassador”. Greet guests in the lobby and on their way to breakfast. Introduce yourself as the Concierge and let them know you are there to assist them with any questions they may have and you have tickets available. Pass out stickers to the kids. Focus on the HIGH profit tickets like 2 Day PTP and higher Universal tickets, Legoland, Sea World, Florida Dolphin / Grayline Tours, Dinner Shows, Blue Man Group and Cirque. NO ONE should walk away from your desk buying 1 Day Tickets without knowing about all of the multi-day and multi-park options. But DON’T pass up 1 Day Disney and Universal tickets! We are making more commission on these now through the end of the year.

DISNEY FLORIDA RESIDENT TICKETS
Please make sure you’ve read the message sent out through When to Work. Again, we can now activate EXCHANGE tickets for 3 or 4 Days for Florida Residents and you RECEIVE COMMISSIONS! A few key points: They must be QUALIFIED as Florida Residents – all ADULTS must have a valid Florida ID; they have 6 months from the first date of use to use all days on their tickets; they must be aware of the Block-Out dates – 12/15/16 – 1/2/17, 4/8/17 – 4/21/17, 6/5/17 – 8/10/17; try to add Hopping or the Water Park Fun & More options to increase your commissions; and you MUST swipe the FLORIDA RESIDENT DTI SHELLS (68 for Adults and 69 for Kids) and these must be exchanged to get the actual tickets at ANY ticket window. All Adults will be required to show their ID’s when exchanging the tickets.

Just a reminder that through the end of October, there will only be ONE show at 6 pm on Thursdays ONLY.

HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS
Our HHN sales are down 40% from last year. If you have a party of all adults, be sure to suggest HHN as an option for them. Remember, the commission on the Sun – Thurs tickets is GREAT so always try to suggest these nights. Also, DON’T FORGET TO CHECK THE PARK HOURS AND IF IT’S AN HHN EVENT NIGHT, LET YOUR GUESTS KNOW THE PARK CLOSES EARLY!

MICKEY’S NOT SO SCARY PARTY
The dates for the upcoming week are 10/21, 10/23, 10/25, 1027 and 10/28. October 30th and 31st are SOLD OUT! As was in the past, guests who purchase our tickets can enter the park at 4 pm. Don’t forget when selling Magic Kingdom tickets, remind your guests that any night there is MNSSHP, the park closes at 7 pm. Be sure to check the times guide and make sure they are aware of this.

BLIZZARD BEACH CLOSED TILL 12/25
When selling ANY Disney ticket that includes a Water Park, make sure you are telling your guests that ONLY Typhoon Lagoon is OPEN. Blizzard Beach is closed and will re-open 12/25, at which time Typhoon Lagoon will close.

NAMETAGS MUST BE WORN
It’s very disappointing when our managers go around to the locations and see so many employees not wearing nametags. If you don’t have one, please let your leads know and we will get one to you. Also, when you are in the hotel, you MUST be in uniform. No one should be out of uniform behind the desk.

ORLANDO MAGIC
As you all know, the NBA pre-season has started and the opening HOME game for the Magic will be Wednesday, 10/26 against the Miami Heat. Please make sure you are familiar with the booking procedures. You should ALWAYS suggest going with Florida Dolphin Tours first! You make MORE commission and the guest will not have to worry about traffic or parking. If they want GAME TICKETS ONLY, our leads all have access for booking the tickets. Or you can call one of the managers to assist as well.

DISCOVERY COVE INCENTIVE
Remember to push Discovery Cove! In the month of October, get $3000 in revenue and you receive 2 Day resorts! $6000 and you get to swims with Sea Venture, $8000 adds a Trainer for a day, and $10,000 gets you a family 4 pack! Discovery Cove is a GREAT value, as you get all food and beverages, in addition to 14 days unlimited admission to both Sea World and Aquatica!

DISNEY REVENUE INCENTIVE
For those of you on the VIP, Gifting and AGS Teams, Disney is running another incentive for MYW ticket sales! For the most revenue produced in Magic Your Way tickets, the top 2 from the Gifting Team and the top 3 from the AGS or VIP Teams will receive 2 Free Tickets to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on 11/11. This runs from 10/2 – 10/29. This is for MYW and MNSSHP tickets only. Timeshare and convention tickets do not apply. You can only win 1 time.

ORLANDO CITY SOCCER
The LAST home match will be Sunday, 10/23 at 4 pm against DC United. We still have 12 company seats available in the Corner Section 101, and if you sell these tickets, you receive an additional $10 in commission.
