November 10th, 2017 – Orlando Balloon Rides & Our Holiday Party!

ATTRACTION FOCUS

Your guests want a special experience to make this trip worthwhile that is intimate (or large groups! They can accommodate groups over 100!) and doesn’t take up the whole day. Orlando Balloon Rides should be your first recommendation! Weather permitting, the balloons lift off seven days a week around sunrise. The total experience can last between 3-4 hours but the actual flight is 1 hour. Fly over central Florida and take in the sights, like swamp lands and theme parks. After landing, it is tradition to enjoy a glass of champagne (there is also a non-alcoholic drink option) to celebrate your journey in the sky. You can soar as high as 4,000 ft. in the air! Your commission will also soar so be sure to talk this up to your guests. You never know who would be interested in this memorable trip. All cameras and selfie sticks are welcome. Hotel pick up service is available. Ages 4 and up. Higher rates are for weekend trips. Call (407) 894-5040 to reserve a spot for your guests.

WALT DISNEY WORLD

Blizzard Beach will be closed through January 7th 2018 for yearly renovations. ASK YOUR GUESTS WHAT DAY THEY ARE GOING FOR ANY 1 DAY SALES. November uses all three seasons for ticket sales.

Disney Peak:  11/13 – 11/15; 11/20 – 11/22; 11/27 – 11/29  (Fridays – Sundays)

November 10, 12, 14, 16, and 17 are this week’s dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party. Just like the Halloween parties, this is a separate ticketed event and if your guests are not attending the event on a party day, you must inform them of the park’s early closure. Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies while taking in the Christmas parade and special fireworks. You don’t even need a sweater for the “snow” on Main Street.

SEAWORLD & LEGOLAND

Please advise anyone purchasing Sea World tickets that Antarctica’s ride will continue opening at 12:00pm Monday-Friday.

Legoland is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If your guests do not have transportation, please let them know about the FREE SHUTTLE leaving from the Orlando Eye that is convenient for them! Please keep in mind that the water park is closed weekdays.

Please the email sent out in When to Work regarding calling out sick. Be courteous to your fellow employees and management. You should only be calling out sick if you are unable to perform your job.

MESSAGE FROM RICK: We are having MAJOR problems with guests getting the wrong Season tickets for One Day Disney and Universal tickets.  ASK THE GUESTS WHAT DATE THEY WILL BE VISITING THE PARK AND THEN PLEASE LOOK AT THE CALENDARS BEFORE SELLING AND PRINTING TICKETS!!!  We had 2 irate guests just this week that got Value tickets for Disney instead of Regular and they were demanding compensation.  I don’t know how many times I have to tell you guys this.  We are going to have the irate guests call each of you directly when you make these mistakes in the future and let them yell at you. Universal Value:  11/1 – 11/18; 11/27 – 12/20. Universal Anytime:  11/19 – 11/26.

If you are not selling tickets to guests, there are other ways to make money.  Make sure you pass out all of your referral cards, particularly Talk of the Town.   You make $3 per ENTRÉE for every referral card turned in.  Get people enrolled in City Access.  Stamp your pads and walk around the lobby passing them out as a way to “break the ice” with your guests.  Pass out referral cards for all of our approved vendors as a welcome packet.  Some of our people and making an additional $500 – $600 per month in referrals!!!  Why aren’t you?

Again, Dollar/Thrifty/Hertz are the first to be used when booking rental cars.  Enterprise is second.  You are NOT to ever book Action or any other company.  They are not approved and anyone using them will be terminated.  We will have shoppers checking on this.  You must use the proper procedures when booking rental cars and put the transaction in the POS so we can track it and make sure you get paid.  Please make sure you enter the guest’s name and the confirmation number.

Happy Birthday to Maria P. 11/11 and Erika C. 11/21!!
