Please be prepared. Get plenty of rest, take your vitamins and GET TO YOUR LOCATIONS EARLY! Give yourself an opportunity to get settled, get your desk cleaned and organized, and count your bank and any inventory that you have. Many of you will develop a line. Make sure you greet anyone waiting with a pleasant “Hi Folks! I’ll be right with you” and make sure you hand them the Fun Guide, Activity Guide, or dinner show brochures to look over while they’re waiting. This will keep them from walking away. Remember, based on past experience, the lines to buy tickets at the parks during this time can exceed 1 hour. If you still have people in the lobby at your scheduled out time, PLEASE STAY AND CONTINUE TO HELP YOUR GUESTS AND MAKE SALES. We will continue to pay you as long as your assisting guests and making sales.

Dollar/Thrifty INCENTIVE: To help motivate bookings we will be doubling your commission for all rentals done in the month of December. Typically you receive 10% of the booking, however for the month of December you will receive 20% of the booking. Also, if you book at least 5 reservations in the month of December (regardless of the number of rental days), we will spiff you an additional $50 above the 20% commission. In order to get paid accurately and efficiently, follow the steps below.

1. BOOK IT ONLINE. On the AGS homepage (intranet.allguest.com), the right hand side below the Medieval Times and above the Approved Vendor Newsletter there are 2 buttons, one is for Thrifty and one for Dollar. Click on the corresponding car rental company and complete a reservation.

ATTRACTION FOCUS

Your guests want a special experience to make this trip worthwhile that is intimate (or large groups! They can accommodate groups over 100!) and doesn’t take up the whole day. Orlando Balloon Rides should be your first recommendation! Weather permitting, the balloons lift off seven days a week around sunrise. The total experience can last between 3-4 hours but the actual flight is 1 hour. Fly over central Florida and take in the sights, like swamp lands and theme parks. After landing, it is tradition to enjoy a glass of champagne (there is also a non-alcoholic drink option) to celebrate your journey in the sky. You can soar as high as 4,000 ft. in the air! Your commission will also soar so be sure to talk this up to your guests. You never know who would be interested in this memorable trip. All cameras and selfie sticks are welcome. Hotel pick up service is available. Ages 4 and up. Higher rates are for weekend trips. Call (407) 894-5040 to reserve a spot for your guests.

MESSAGE FROM RICK: We are having MAJOR problems with guests getting the wrong Season tickets for One Day Disney and Universal tickets.  ASK THE GUESTS WHAT DATE THEY WILL BE VISITING THE PARK AND THEN PLEASE LOOK AT THE CALENDARS BEFORE SELLING AND PRINTING TICKETS!!!  We had 2 irate guests just this week that got Value tickets for Disney instead of Regular and they were demanding compensation.  I don’t know how many times I have to tell you guys this.  We are going to have the irate guests call each of you directly when you make these mistakes in the future and let them yell at you. Universal Value:  11/1 – 11/18; 11/27 – 12/20. Universal Anytime:  11/19 – 11/26.

If you are not selling tickets to guests, there are other ways to make money.  Make sure you pass out all of your referral cards, particularly Talk of the Town.   You make $3 per ENTRÉE for every referral card turned in.  Get people enrolled in City Access.  Stamp your pads and walk around the lobby passing them out as a way to “break the ice” with your guests.  Pass out referral cards for all of our approved vendors as a welcome packet.  Some of our people and making an additional $500 – $600 per month in referrals!!!  Why aren’t you?

Again, Dollar/Thrifty/Hertz are the first to be used when booking rental cars.  Enterprise is second.  You are NOT to ever book Action or any other company.  They are not approved and anyone using them will be terminated.  We will have shoppers checking on this.  You must use the proper procedures when booking rental cars and put the transaction in the POS so we can track it and make sure you get paid.  Please make sure you enter the guest’s name and the confirmation number.

Happy Birthday to Maria P. 11/11 and Erika C. 11/21!!

Know someone who would be a great fit for AGS? Refer someone and get $100 Visa card for anyone that is hired and stays with us for at least 90 days. Our Employee Appreciation Party will be on Sunday, December 3rd at Sea World’s Ports of Call.  More information will be coming shortly.

We are having issues with our rental car volume dropping with Dollar/Thrifty/Hertz.  This is a reminder that you are ONLY able to book rental cars with Dollar/Thrifty/Hertz and Enterprise using the proper AGS codes when making the bookings.  Action or any other company is NOT to be used.  Anyone using a non-approved rental car company will be terminated.  We have shoppers out checking on this and anyone caught trying to book with Action or any other unapproved company will be immediately fired.  The ONLY exceptions for using a non-approved rental car company is if you have them in your lobby.  FYI, Dollar/Thrifty/Hertz pays us the most commission so you make the most when booking through them.  Enterprise is second.  Again, you MUST use the proper Referral Codes so we can make sure you get paid correctly and be sure to put it in the POS so we can track it with all of the information.

You are responsible to make sure the location is stocked before you leave. Make a list in the morning of supplies you need and give to the runner when he arrives to pick up the deposit. If you give a list of supplies needed and the runner does not bring the supplies back to you then send an email to sales@allguest.com(goes to all managers) with the list of supplies you gave to the runner and that he did not bring them back to stock you.

SeaWorld has started Halloween Spooktacular on the weekends which is INCLUDED in regularBrick or Treat at Legoland Florida admission. The ORLANDO EYE is celebrating Halloween with Halloween décor in select capsules as well as the free Coke capsules. If guests are looking for something to do after their day in SeaWorld, this is a great add-on! Madam Tussand’s Wax Museum has also added a little Halloween by making their Tom Hanks figure into David. S. Pumpkins character as seen on SNL, so young adults would enjoy this as well.

Legoland is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Brick or Treat starts October 14th on weekends only. This event will have fireworks with the exception of Halloween night’s event. Special characters and trick or treating plus all of the rides and attractions at Legoland are sure to keep your guests happy and busy during their day at the park. Some of you are not printing tickets correctly out of the Legoland Gifting (Touring) store.  Only MATCHING tickets should be printed out of this store.  In other words, if you are selling 2 Adult Legolands and giving 2 Free, you can use only this store.  Any ADDITIONAL tickets must be printed out of the Guest Services (Non-Touring) store.  So if you have 2 Adults and 3 Children, you must print the 2 Adults and 2 Children in the Touring store, log out, log in to the Guest Services store (Non-Touring) and print the additional child ticket.  If you print any additional Children or Seniors out of the Gifting store, the cost is $10 higher and you will be charged this difference.  Please contact your Team Lead or manager if you have questions.
